Crowdfunding is the armor in Nishant's kidney failure

Nishant Patkar suffered kidney failure. He was undergoing dialysis for over a month when the doctors suggested a kidney transplant. Although his mother was identified as a donor, Nishant didn’t have the funds for the transplant.
Nishant’s boss suggested him to try crowdfunding. Nishant started fundraiser through impactGuru.com and within hours funds started pouring in. Within 9 days of posting the fundraiser on Facebook and WhatsApp, his fundraiser on impactguru.com exceeded the goal amount to 102 %. More than 500 donors raised Rs 9, 16, 663 for Nishant’s treatment.
Nishant underwent a successful kidney transplant and was discharged from the hospital on 2nd August 2019.
