Kavitha and Venkataraman have gone through a lot and Kavitha’s diagnosis of thymoma was just an addition to a long list of problems.
Having exhausted his savings over Kavitha’s pregnancy-related complications, Venkataraman was caught unawares when thymoma landed at his doorstep. With no savings, he needed Rs 10 lakh to save his wife from life-threatening tumours that had developed in her thymus.
A professor in a private institute used all his savings and insurance money but was still running short of funds for the surgery. Venkataraman started an online fundraiser on ImpactGuru on his friend’s behest.
To his complete surprise, 53 generous souls came to his rescue. Within no time, enough money was raised for Kavitha’s operation. On November 2, 2019, Kavitha underwent five hours long complicated surgery.
Thankfully, the surgery was a resounding success and Kavitha was released from the hospital on November 7, 2019.
Kavitha and her husband Venkataraman want to thank everyone who supported them in their time of need. They emphasized the power of giving and its miraculous benefits!
A lot can be achieved when people join hands and donate for a cause they believe in. Even cheating death becomes as easy as plucking a fruit from a tree. - Venkataraman
