To all the kind-hearted souls I met through ImpactGuru, I pen down this letter to you.

I have lived for more than 40 years. A life filled with surprises, happiness, and downfall - I have seen it all. But in my 40 years, I have never experienced the kind of generosity I was showered with up until a few months ago.

It's the kind of love you'd anticipate from cherished ones. It's the compassion you would expect your parents would shower you with. My dear ImpactGuru donors, you've not only helped me survive but thrive because of the love and compassion you had for me.

Out of all the accounts of things that have occurred, hearing from my doctor that I was diagnosed with a Chronic Kidney Disease was definitely something uncalled for. A chronic illness diagnosis hits you like a bolt from the blue, like an unexpected thunderstorm on a bright sunny day. 

The road ahead seemed daunting. After the diagnosis, Dialysis became an integral part of my life. Furthermore, the doctors informed me that I may need a kidney transplant in the future. This put a great financial strain on me, as I watched my savings dwindle while I tried to manage this chronic condition. Facing this financial struggle alone was like battling a giant with only a pebble in hand.

I felt overwhelmed and defeated when I thought of the medical bills that kept piling up until I heard about ImpactGuru through a colleague. I'll admit it. Before I created a fundraising campaign to raise funds for my treatment, a whirlwind of doubts stormed my mind. "Is this the right step?" And now, looking back, I'm grateful I took that leap of courage.

With the funds raised, I now have the means to afford regular Dialysis and continue my 9-to-5 routine, a luxury that seemed distant not so long ago.

My journey transformed from a solitary struggle to a collective achievement that was brought together by ImpactGuru donors. My heart is full of gratitude, not just for the financial support but for the hope that people have given me. Each person who contributed played a role in changing my life's course, turning darkness into light.
