A letter to my 18-year-old self - How I coped with the harsh reality of Crohn’s disease

Dear Younger Harshvardhan,

I have so many things to tell you. These past few years will always stay with me, and I am here to share everything. Sure, there will be some rough patches along the way, but you've got this! You're going to weather the storm and come out stronger than ever. As the saying goes, tough times never last, but tough people do. And you, my dear friend, are as tough as they come.

The year 2020 will be a rollercoaster ride. COVID-19 took over the world, leaving everyone restless and it might feel like a tragic movie. 

Do you remember the day when the doctors informed you that you were diagnosed with Crohn's disease? That day might have felt like the end of the world, but it was just the beginning of your brave and arduous journey.

I know you are just starting your life, full of dreams and aspirations, but the diagnosis of Crohn's disease has thrown a wrench into your plans. Right now, the things that are unfolding might be scary and confusing, or it might feel overwhelming.
