A Mother’s Letter of Gratitude to ImpactGuru Donors

Dear ImpactGuru Donors,

I can't express how grateful I am for everything you've done for my daughter and me. Your kindness and generosity have brought light to our darkest days. I am writing this letter with tears of gratitude, joy, and unparalleled relief.

My daughter, who just turned seven this year, had to face one of the deadliest phases in her life. As some of you might already know, back in 2022, my little girl, Sreeja, was diagnosed with liver failure. The news hit us like a brick - there was no way we could have seen it coming.. 

Sreeja's father and my elder daughter passed away a few years ago in a tragic accident, and since then, it has always been just the three of us - Sreeja, her younger brother, and me. We might not have had a lot, but we always considered ourselves blessed as long as there was food on the table and we were happy and healthy. 

While Sreeja’s diagnosis changed everything for us, I was determined to do everything possible to save my daughter. If there was a future without my daughter, I prayed never to see it. I couldn’t lose her. Nothing else mattered. 

I struggled to make ends meet and began taking loans and financial help from relatives to fund Sreeja’s treatment, but it just wasn’t enough.

Second Chances

That's when we reached out to ImpactGuru and you came to our rescue. It was positively overwhelming to see so many strangers and well-wishers helping us in our time of need! I was fortunate enough to be able to give a part of my liver for her transplant, and today, Sreeja has reached a miraculous milestone. With your generous contributions, we raised ₹11,04,261 for her liver transplant surgery. 

Since the surgery, Sreeja has been doing remarkably well. My heart is overwhelmed with joy as I see her eating her meals without any difficulty and walking with ease. Above all, her radiant smile is back! I cannot express how relieved I am that my precious daughter is on the path to complete recovery. With tears in my eyes, I cannot thank the ImpactGuru community enough for their generosity.
