Meet Shahnawaz  

Our brave warrior of the story. Shahnawaz is our little mischief-maker who is always up to playful pranks and spreading laughter wherever he goes. However, he was not born into an easy life. Baby Shahnawaz was born with a rare soft tissue condition called Bilateral Macrostomia, also known as permanent smile syndrome. 

Shahnawaz's condition meant that his mouth formed an unusually wide smile that stayed with him at all times. While it might sound endearing at first, this condition presented numerous challenges and hardships for him and his family. Everyday activities like eating, speaking, and smiling became a struggle for Shahnawaz.

Emotional Hurdles

The emotional and mental toll that Shahnawaz's condition inflicted on him and his family cannot be understated. The constant judgemental stares and whispers from strangers took a heavy toll on Shahnawaz and his family. Witnessing their beloved child endure such a difficult trial brought a deep ache to their hearts, leaving them feeling helpless, yet they refused to lose hope.

Shahnawaz's family experienced heartbreak watching their child battle a difficult medical condition, but today their family celebrates the joy of seeing his health restored and being able to live life to the fullest.
