My name is Wahengbam James Singh, and I live in a small village in Manipur with my daughter Joyshree. I have a small grocery shop. She comes back from school and helps me to do chores and then sits down to study. She wants to become a scientist!

Life was going on happily until one day...

Joyshree started feeling unwell; she was continuously vomiting. I thought she might have eaten something wrong, and I wish it was just that. Unfortunately, it wasn't! When we got her checked, we found out she had a brain tumor. When the doctor said this, my world shook. For a while, I couldn't understand what they were saying. How could a father bear such news?

My daughter had a brain tumor. Based on the advice of the doctors at Apollo Proton Cancer Center, Modulated Proton Beam Therapy was the only solution that could help Joyshree. In the meantime, she had to undergo extensive chemotherapy. Seeing my lovely daughter sitting on a bed all day in this condition, I couldn't help but wonder what I could do to make everything right.
