Bosch India
Bosch celebrates Daan Utsav for the entire month of October, where associates give time and effort for twenty plus different activities that spanned from career counseling, cleaning the city, taking children to museums and malls, visiting old age homes, afforestation drives, books and clothes donation drives. Bosch Associates in Bangalore and Coimbatore clocked in close to 7000 hours of Volunteering during this month.

Indian Oil Petrol Stations are going to become collection centers during DaanUtsav Week. Go and Donate: school material, unused notebooks, stationery, bags, uniforms, storybooks newspapers & paper grains (rice, pulses), bedsheets, sarees toiletries (tooth brush, paste, soap, etc.) toys, spectacles, usable mobiles Please donate and celebrate this festival!

JW Marriot Pune
Over the week, JW Marriott will organize many such as: placing a Wish Tree' for the guests to buy a gift for a child and pledge their contributions towards the Marriott Home, fulfill the wish of Sparsh Balgram children to visit Adlabs Imagica the amusement park in Khopoli, and a lot more !

Tata Strategic Management Group
Tata is organizing a collection drive for clothes, toys, stationery, cereals and and many others in Mumbai!

Paypal Charitython
Paypal Charitython is a unique drive to cater to one of the most essential needs of our society – FOOD. This event will bring a mini departmental store into PayPal campus and employees would have an opportunity to donate grocery items to three deserving NGOs – Anbagam, Sathiyameh Jayam Charitable Trust and Gladden Children’s Home!

Britannia
Britannia is participating in an online fundraiser that encourages people to take a picture or video of himself or herself smiling and share it on social media using this hashtag #SmileForAGoodDay. For every smile posted, the company will donate pack of Good Day Cookies to Akshaya Patra Foundation.

BMC Software
BMC Software organizes a donation drive. Employees are encouraged to donate toys, clothes, newspapers and food grains. These will be later sent to the communities partnered with BMC software.

General Electric India
As part of DAAN UTSAV celebrations, staff of General Electric will support the wishes of Children from Sevalaya's Mahakavi Bharathiyar School, which would be put up in a. The wishes would be put in a wish card, which will contain the name, class and section of the child and the wish of the child like sweets, crackers, school bag, a pair of shoes etc. The employees can choose to satisfy wish of a child by fulfilling the wish card. A small contribution from the staff can help fulfill a poor child’s wish.

This year, by putting up a Wishtree, they are supporting an organization called Baale Mane, which is a home for girls at Hessarghatta and has over 60 girls between the age of 6 and 20. Some are orphans or have a single parent who are unable to care for them, and many have been rescued from domestic service or have been found homeless in the streets by volunteers. Where possible, the aim of the home is to reunite the girls with their family but where this is neither possible nor desirable, the girls are given long term care and protection at the Baale.

TechnoPark
Technopark was always a home for thousand fortunates, but it never turned its back to others as well. DaanUtsav has again reminded this with its new initiative to join the hands of Deaf and Dumb school at Jagathy, Trivandrum & Sree Mookambika Sravana Samsara Vidyalayam, Vazhuthacaud and St.Marys School, Pattom. 75 differently abled students from these schools are invited to join the largest IT hub of the nation for an entire day. The warm welcome includes sumptuous lunch to deep interactions with the kids. The kids are in their thrill for this unusual day of full fledged fun and amusement.

CNBC-TV18 is celebrating 'Daan Utsav' or the 'Joy of Giving' by hosting conversations with several philanthropists for the causes they support.

P N Gadgil Jewellers Pvt Ltd
PN Gadgil Pvt Ltd is organising Collection drive of Stationery, Story Books, Drawing Kit, Notebooks from the employees across all stores of India. Collected materials will be donated to underprivilage children from NGO.

Bodhtree
Bodhtree is a global IT services provider headquartered in California with offices across North America, Singapore and India. They celebrated the joy of giving week by supporting 200 underprivileged school going children with school kits.

SPAR
SPAR sold packets of grain and school supplies in over 15 of their stores across 7 cities, which could be bought and donated to the selected NGOs or anyone in need. They will had a special booth at their stores and also promoted the cause on social media.

Makemytrip
Online travel company Makemytrip will allow customers to do nate directly through their page, simply by clicking on the Daan Utsav icon. They will also generate buzz around the festival with daily posts on social media during the first week of October.

Foodpanda
Mobile food delivery marketplace, Foodpanda took another approach, introducing a “deck of cartds“ activity for their customers, urging them to indulge in small acts of giving such as treat a co-worker or give a fruit to a needy person. “It's a feelgood initiative that we are going to promote internally and for customers using social me dia contests,“ said Rashika Yadav, PR manager for Foodpanda.

Qwikcilver Solutions
Online gift-card store Qwikcilver Solutions, encouraged their customers to give away any accrued loyalty points to an NGO using their mobile app. “This concept is already popular in other parts of the world. Say for instance, that you donate a charity card instead of buying a cinema card for your kid. You will be helping to instill a social consciousness,“ said Pratap TP, co-founder and CMO of Qwiksilver.

Pick my laundry
They organized a Clothes Donation Fundraiser – #BadeDilwale – (for people residing in Delhi & Gurgaon). They requested people to generously donate their clothes. They kindly collected them customer doorstep without any charges. Then the clothes were washed, sanitised, packed and handed over to an NGO.

Bharti Infratel
Bharti Infratel, a leading telecom tower infrastructure provider company of Odisha agreed to partner in a project with AAINA to set up a Wish Tree placed at the Head Office during one week. Most of the wishes were in relation to meet the educational or physical needs of children with disability. Each wish also reflected an amount involved to fulfill that wish.

DDB Mudra Group
This year, DDB Mudra Group did its share towards Daan Utsav by ‘giving’ it’s time and talent pro bono and helping in increasing awareness about it. The agency created two inspiring stories for free in order to drive home the point that Daan Utsav is about the act of giving, irrespective of the amount or nature of the ‘giving’.

State Bank of India
In a simple yet meaningful function, General Manager (GM) of SBI Northeast Circle Guwahati Panalal Das along with Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Regional Business Head Office Imphal Thangboi Lunkim provided notebooks and other necessary materials to children of the orphan home today. Regional Business Head Office, Imphal has been saving money from the donations made by its staff for the last one week and from the amount collected all the necessary materials and notebooks were purchased, added AGM Thangboi Lunkim.

Kserve.co.in in collaboration with Udaan Welfare Foundation has set up a Wish-Tree to help fulfil Wishes of the lesser privileged Women, Kids and Senior Citizens in and around Saksham Community Centre- an initiative of Udaan Welfare Foundation. The Vision is to empower the lesser privileged Community through Education, Health and Nutrition Awareness Camps, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Programmes

Confederation of Indian Industry of Pune
Confederation of Indian Industry of Pune will be participated by collecting clothes, food grains, other necessary items and then give it to different NGOs of their choice in the city. M N Sanyal, Convener, CII Affirmative Action & CSR Panel & Senior Manager – Outreach Programme, Thermax Limited informed, “Daan Utsav is a platform to sensitise the privileged about their responsibility towards society and especially the poor. At CII we try to help Corporates to discover the Joy of Giving, through personal time, money, material or just love and affection.”

Phoenix Market City
Mr. Rajiv Malla, Director, Phoenix Market City, Pune said “Phoenix market city as the most preferred shopping lifestyle and entertainment destination for Punekar has always been associated with various social causes and initiatives. Doing charity is something we all want to do but at times find it difficult to find the right channel. Through initiatives like DaanUtsav we want to help the needy and deserving people along with letting Puneties feel the joy of sharing. We have been part of this initiative since last four years.”

Turner International India
Turner International India Pvt. Ltd. is the Indian arm of the Turner Broadcasting System, a Time Warner company. It manages the sales and marketing of Turner’s news and entertainment services in India and other South Asian countries. This year they donated books to Project Nanhi Kali.

Amazon India
In partnership with AkshayaPatra Foundation, they raised funds to support some of their 1.4 million children across India who depend on them for their mid-day meal every single day.

To support the initiative, Amazon decided to set up collection spots across 7 Amazon offices in India. Employees from Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Pune all participated in the 3 day long fundraiser. Amazonians were encouraged to donate as much as they wanted, to buy as little as 4 kilos of Daal to support at least one child for a year.

Bharat Forge Limited
Every year Bharat Forge celebrates Daan Utsav, The Joy of Giving Week, during the first week of October. The motive behind Daan Utsav is to give back to the society and for us to look beyond our own needs to aid the deprived sections of the society. This is the third consecutive year Bharat Forge has participated in Daan Utsav bringing smiles on many faces – young and old. This year, Bharat Forge employees contributed generously and helped six NGOs, Anath Hindu Mahilashram, Sanmati Bal Niketan Sanstha, Pimpri Chinchwad Apang Mitra, Punarutthan Samarasata Gurukul, Sevadham Vrudhashram and Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra.
