Who can contribute to a fundraiser?

Anybody above the age of 18 years can contribute to a fundraiser. For donors less than 18 years of age, parents’ or guardians’ consent is required.

How can I contribute to a fundraiser?

In order to contribute to a fundraiser, go to the fundraiser page and click on “Contribute.” You can click on the default amount or add a denomination of your own. Select your preferred mode of payment. And voila! You are an Impact Angel.

What is the minimum I can contribute to a fundraiser?

The minimum contribution to a fundraiser is Rs. 200

Do I need to register to make a contribution?

No, it is not mandatory. However, to complete a contribution, we will need your email address and billing details. Registering via your Facebook, Twitter, or Google account will allow you to speed up the contribution process the next time.

Can I make a contribution anonymously?

Yes, you can be shown as an Anonymous donor to a fundraiser if you wish to. Just tick “Hide my name from public” before making the payment. However, Impact Guru, payment gateways, and the chosen non-profit will know of your identity to maintain compliance with Indian laws.

Will I get an 80G Tax Exemption certificate?

Yes, Impact Guru Foundation will provide you the 80G tax exemption certificate if you share your PAN details. The 80G tax exemption certificate is issued only on those campaign where it is clearly written that 80G benefits are available. The 80G tax exemption certificate will only be issued to Indian citizens.

What payment methods are accepted?

There are various methods to choose from, such as:

What do I do if I don’t get the promised rewards?

The fundraiser creator is solely responsible for fulfilling reward claims. We only provide you with the details of the claimants like their name, shipping address etc.

In case, you don’t get the rewards, please reach out directly to your fundraiser creator by posting comments on the chat feature to get an update or mail us at [email protected] and we will try our best to help you out. However, we do not bear any responsibility on the delivery of rewards.

What do I do if my transaction fails?

If the amount hasn’t already been deducted, please try making it again. If you face repeated problems, please take a screenshot and mail it to us at [email protected] and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
