After my mother passed away in 2020 due to a brain haemorrhage, I was broken. I always prayed that this should never happen to anyone in the family. Little did I know that we would move on from this, but……
My name is Tanvi. I am 25 years old. First, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I had to leave my job, and the hospital became my second home. I constantly suffered from headaches and swelling. The doctors advised an immediate brain tumour surgery. After the surgery, I hoped that with timely medications and care, I would recover and continue my job, which I had to leave due to this condition. But life wasn’t done testing me.

In September 2025, I again suffered from blood cancer. I had to go through 6 rounds of chemotherapy back-to-back. Eventually, it didn’t give the desired results. Now the doctors at Nehru Hospital, Chandigarh, have asked me to go through a consolidation chemotherapy, spine and neurosurgery for a brain tumour and a bone marrow transplant to beat blood cancer.
My father is retired, and my siblings are pursuing their careers. I was the only breadwinner in the family. The insurance I have is not sufficient to cover my expensive medical treatment. I need your help to get better and be there for my family. I never wanted to give up, and I will not. Life is still mine, and cancer can’t define my story.
