At 22, Kishan’s life was upended by words no one his age expects to hear: “You have a brain tumor.” The diagnosis - pineal gland germinoma, a rare type of cancerous tumor that forms deep in the center of the brain - came after weeks of worsening headaches, blurred vision, and a seizure.
