My name is Vishnu Prakash M, and I’m a 24-year-old self-employed photographer from Madurai. For the past 5 years, I have been silently battling Chronic Kidney Disease, undergoing dialysis three times a week, each session costing ₹6,000. Despite the pain, the exhaustion, and the emotional toll, I’ve kept going with a single hope — that one day, I’ll get a kidney transplant and reclaim my life.
That day has come — but I cannot take the next step without your help.
I have already spent ₹8 lakhs over the years on dialysis and medical care. All my savings are gone. There is no insurance. The doctors have now advised a kidney transplant as the only long-term solution, and the estimated cost is ₹7 lakhs. This amount covers the surgery, hospital expenses, post-operative care, and lifelong medications to ensure the transplant’s success.
I love photography, and I dream of building a better life for myself and my family — one where I’m not tied to machines, one where I can breathe without pain, and work without fear. But today, that dream depends on your kindness.
