Have you ever felt as if you were running out of time? That rush, that constant fear mixed with little faith in your heart that everything will get better with time. That’s exactly what our situation is right now. My name is Ripu Kumar. I am the mother of a 7-year-old boy, Neer.
Neer was diagnosed with congenital heart disease right after he was born. Despite everything, he has always been the joy of our family, lighting up every room with his infectious laughter and boundless energy. He dreams of living a healthy life and playing outdoors with his friends. To us, he is the soul of our small family, a bright star with a future full of promise.
A few months ago, Neer began feeling breathless and weak. Sleepless nights and endless worry led us to many doctors until we found out that he now has an infection in the hole in his heart. The doctors said the infection must first be treated, and then surgery can be performed.
Doctors at Geetanjali Child Hospital, Supaul, have explained that his condition is critical, and immediate surgery is his only chance at recovery. Neer is currently hospitalised, and while the medical team is doing everything they can, the costs are mounting each day. His fragile heart is struggling, and every second feels like a race against time.

We have already spent many lakhs, taking loans to cover earlier medical expenses. But the estimated cost of his life-saving surgery and treatments runs into several lakhs more, and we now need your help to cover them. Neer’s father is the only earning member of our family, and the rising medical costs are standing in the way of giving Neer the carefree childhood he deserves.
What Neer requires is an AP window repair.
What is an AP window in congenital heart disease?
An aortopulmonary (AP) window is a heart defect in which there is a hole between the aorta (the blood vessel that carries blood from the heart to the body) and the pulmonary artery (the blood vessel carrying blood to the lungs). Because of this hole, blood from the aorta rushes into the pulmonary artery, causing too much blood to flow through the lungs.

Here’s how you can help Neer:
Every rupee donated will go directly towards surgery costs, hospital bills, and post-treatment care. With your help, we can give him the chance to live like a healthy, happy child, just as he has always dreamed.
Please share this appeal with your friends and family. Your kindness and support can give Neer the gift of life. Together, let’s ensure that his light continues to shine bright.
