What was once a life filled with sports, studies, and laughter with friends has now crumbled into endless hospital visits and painful chemotherapy sessions. Fourteen-year-old Shoubhit Chakraborty from Odisha is fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) — a fast-growing blood cancer.
Just a few months ago, he was a bright student with dreams of excelling in school and enjoying his teenage years. But today, he is malnourished, extremely weak, and unable to even eat or sit for long. The cheerful boy who once loved being active now struggles with the side effects of chemotherapy, battling fatigue and sadness every single day.
Shoubhit’s parents first noticed something unusual when he had gum bleeding. What they thought was a dental issue turned out to be their worst nightmare: a diagnosis of blood cancer in May 2025. Since then, Shoubhit has been undergoing the B-ALL TMH protocol at KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad, which includes regular chemotherapy, blood tests, and monthly bone marrow biopsies.

Shoubhit’s father runs a small utensil business. Today, the family finds it difficult to manage the treatment cost of Shoubhit, and they need your help.
If the treatment is not continued on time, doctors warn that the cancer may spread throughout the body, leading to life-threatening consequences.
Shoubhit dreams of recovering and returning to his studies, to live the vibrant life he once had. But his future depends on the kindness of people like you.
