He never complained, never rested, and always put our needs before his own.”
Never in my worst imagination did I think that one day, the strong man I always knew would be fighting for his life.
My name is Naga Vijay, and today I am writing this with a heavy heart. My father has been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, a life-threatening condition caused by a weakened blood vessel in the brain. He is currently admitted to the ICU, where he remains in critical condition. He is under constant medical observation and is receiving continuous medication along with BiPAP respiratory support to help him breathe. Every passing moment is crucial.
After careful evaluation, the doctors have advised urgent aneurysm clipping surgery along with an External Ventricular Drain (EVD) to relieve pressure on his brain. This major neurosurgical procedure is necessary to save his life and prevent permanent damage. The doctors have clearly told us that any delay could be fatal.
My father is 50 years old and has always been the primary breadwinner of our family. With my father hospitalised, the responsibility of running the household and medical expenses has fallen entirely on us. We have already spent many lakhs on treatment by exhausting our savings and borrowing wherever possible. Despite all our efforts, continuing my father’s treatment has become extremely difficult without financial support.
