Help My Mother Sandhya Fight Breast Cancer — Your Support Can Save Her Life
My name is Toshi Srivastava, and I am raising funds for my mother, Sandhya Srivastava, who has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment at Homi Bhabha Cancer Center, Varanasi.
On 19th August 2025, our lives changed forever when the doctors informed us that my mother has Breast Cancer. Hearing the word cancer attached to her name broke me completely. She has always been the backbone of our family — a woman full of strength, warmth, and compassion. But today, she is fighting for her life.
Her treatment began immediately. She has already completed 4 rounds of chemotherapy, each cycle draining her physically, emotionally, and mentally. Now, the doctors have recommended Targeted Therapy, which is extremely crucial to control her cancer — but it is also very expensive.
We have already spent ₹1,70,000 on tests, chemotherapy, medicines, and hospital visits. We managed this through savings, selling valuables, and borrowing money. But the remaining treatment — including Targeted Therapy, medications, and continuous hospital care — will cost around ₹13,80,000, which is far beyond what we can afford now.
As her child, it feels unbearable to watch her in pain, losing her strength day by day, while we struggle to arrange the funds needed to save her life. I cannot imagine a world without my mother’s smile, her voice, or her warmth.

19 अगस्त 2025 का दिन हमारी ज़िंदगी का सबसे दर्दनाक दिन था। डॉक्टरों ने बताया कि मेरी माँ को ब्रेस्ट कैंसर है। “कैंसर” शब्द सुनते ही मेरे पांव तले ज़मीन खिसक गई। मेरी माँ हमेशा से हमारी ताकत रही हैं—प्यार, हिम्मत और सहनशीलता की मिसाल। लेकिन आज वही माँ अपनी ज़िंदगी की सबसे बड़ी लड़ाई लड़ रही हैं।
इलाज तुरंत शुरू कर दिया गया। माँ की 4 कीमोथेरेपी हो चुकी हैं — हर एक सत्र ने उन्हें शारीरिक, मानसिक और भावनात्मक रूप से बहुत कमजोर कर दिया है। अब डॉक्टरों ने टार्गेटेड थेरेपी की सलाह दी है, जो उनके इलाज के लिए बेहद ज़रूरी है लेकिन बेहद महंगी भी।
अब तक हम ₹1,70,000 खर्च कर चुके हैं — टेस्ट, कीमो, दवाइयाँ और अस्पताल के चक्कर में। हमने अपनी सारी बचत लगा दी, उधार लिया, जो था वो बेच दिया… बस ताकि माँ का इलाज रुक न जाए।लेकिन आगे का इलाज — टार्गेटेड थेरेपी, दवाइयाँ और अस्पताल का निरंतर खर्च — लगभग ₹13,80,000 आएगा, जिसे जुटा पाना हमारे लिए असंभव हो गया है।
एक बच्चे के रूप में, माँ को दर्द में देखते रहना, उनकी ताकत को हर दिन कम होते देखना… और पैसे के कारण इलाज कठिन होता देखना — यह मेरे लिए असहनीय है। मैं अपनी माँ की मुस्कान, उनकी आवाज़ और उनके स्नेह के बिना जीवन की कल्पना भी नहीं कर सकता/सकती।
