During the first wave, we aimed to supply and support NGO partners on the field who are working with urban slum communities, guest workers and underserved areas with sanitary napkins during the lockdown. With the support of sanitary napkin brands, donors and in-kind donations, we were able to distribute 4,02,100 sanitary napkins to over 31,546 menstruators from May to November 2020. With the help of NGO partners like Asha Trust, SNEHA, Pratham Foundation and networks like MAHAPECONET - a UNICEF Maharashtra convened platform, we were served underserved communities like prison inmates, persons with disabilities and tribal school girls across Maharashtra. 

Currently during the second wave, we are focusing on providing period products to medical staff and frontline workers who are doing their best to help India breathe better.

Our goal was to raise funds to help girls and women from lower income groups in containment areas get menstrual hygiene products.

In 2021, while India is in the midst of the second wave of covid-19, 1 out of 3 front line workers struggles to manage her period. 70% of the frontline staff (medical nurses and ward attendants) are women. As our health system struggled due to the staggering number of covid cases in the second wave, these frontline workers risked their own health including their health to help others. We want them to have one less thing to worry about during their periods.
