Neeshita has been selected to represent India in the Female under 49Kg category at the Youth Olympic Games' Qualifier tournament to be held at Hammamet in Tunisia between the 6th and 7th of April.

As on date there are 50 registered participants - hence she has the opportunity to see the game at close quarters of players from 49 other countries! A fantastic opportunity to learn indeed. This group is also the one that is most competitive - all other groups have fewer confirmed participants.

She now needs to be in the top 8 of this group of elite players in order to confirm her berth at the main Youth Olympic Event at Buenos Aires. Considering a draw lot of 64, she will need to win at the least of the possible 6 matches to the Pole position!
