Our family is devastated beyond words. My beloved sister-in-law, Mehar Unnisa, who is the heart of our family and the one who always stood as our pillar of strength, is now fighting for her life. At 60 years old, we never imagined that the one who cared for all of us would need our care and strength now.
Just a few weeks ago, she complained of severe abdominal pain. What seemed like a small health issue quickly turned into something much bigger than we could have ever imagined. On 25th August 2025, she was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. The news was a shock that shook our entire family to the core.
She is currently admitted to Mythri Hospital, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad, battling for her life in the ICU under ventilator support. The cost of ICU care alone is about ₹50,000 per day, and the bills are rising beyond what we can bear.
Acute pancreatitis is an aggressive, life-threatening condition. Her pancreas is dangerously inflamed, and the complications are severe. The doctors are doing everything possible, but without continued ICU treatment, ventilator support, and medications, her chances of survival are slim.
We have already spent everything we could — our savings are gone, and debts are piling up. Medical bills have already reached several lakhs, and now we are faced with the overwhelming goal of ₹12,00,000 to save her life. For our family, this is a crushing burden. Watching Mehar Unnisa slip away while we are helpless financially is the hardest pain we’ve ever faced.

కొన్ని వారాల క్రితం ఆమెకు తీవ్రమైన కడుపు నొప్పి వచ్చింది. చిన్న సమస్య అనుకున్నాం కానీ అది ఊహించలేని పెద్ద సమస్యగా మారింది. 2025 ఆగస్టు 25న, ఆమెకు తీవ్ర పాంక్రియాటైటిస్ (Acute Pancreatitis) అని నిర్ధారణ అయింది. ఆ వార్త మా కుటుంబాన్ని షాక్‌కు గురి చేసింది.
ప్రస్తుతం ఆమె మైథ్రి హాస్పిటల్, మెహదీపట్నం, హైదరాబాద్ లో ICU లో వెంటిలేటర్ సపోర్ట్ మీద జీవితం కోసం పోరాడుతున్నారు. ICU ఖర్చు రోజుకు ₹50,000 అవుతోంది, దీనివల్ల ఖర్చులు మాకు భరించలేని స్థాయికి చేరాయి.
అక్యూట్ పాంక్రియాటైటిస్ చాలా ప్రమాదకరమైన వ్యాధి. ఆమె పాంక్రియాస్ తీవ్రమైన వాపుతో ఉంది. పరిస్థితి చాలా క్లిష్టంగా ఉంది. డాక్టర్లు అన్నీ చేస్తున్నారు, కానీ నిరంతర ICU ట్రీట్మెంట్, వెంటిలేటర్ సపోర్ట్, మందులు లేకపోతే ఆమె ప్రాణాలు రక్షించడం కష్టం.
ఇప్పటికే మేము మా పొదుపులు అంతా ఖర్చు చేసేశాం. అప్పులు కూడా పెరుగుతున్నాయి. లక్షల్లో బిల్లులు అయ్యాయి. ఇప్పుడు ఆమె ప్రాణం కాపాడటానికి ₹12,00,000 అవసరం అవుతోంది. మా కుటుంబానికి ఇది తట్టుకోలేని భారంగా మారింది. మెహర్ ఉన్నీసా మన కళ్లముందే జారిపోతుండగా, ఆర్థికంగా ఏమీ చేయలేకపోవడం మాకు భరించలేని బాధగా మారింది.
నా అన్నయ్య, ఆమె భర్త, కన్నీళ్లు పెట్టుకుంటూ అంటున్నారు: “ఆమె మా అంతా. మా కుటుంబాన్ని ఎన్నో సంవత్సరాలు కాపాడింది. మేము ఆమెను కోల్పోలేం.”
