My name is Krishna Motwani, and I am raising funds for my beloved sister, Manisha Motwani (27). She recently suffered a terrible road accident in Gurgaon when a truck hit her, causing severe injuries to her left foot.
She is currently undergoing treatment at Medanta - The Medicity, Gurugram, where doctors are doing their best to save her foot and help her recover.
Medical Condition and Treatment
Scans revealed comminuted fractures in several metatarsal bones, along with displaced fractures in her ankle and toes.
Additionally, there is soft tissue loss and exposed skin over her foot, making recovery extremely complex.
The doctors at Medanta Hospital are currently managing her wounds with advanced wound therapy, including vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) to prevent infection and promote healing.
She will require multiple surgeries, including bony fixation, skin grafting, and possibly a flap cover. In the worst-case scenario, amputation may be necessary.
