Since May of 2025, I have watched my younger brother fight for his life. The man who has touched lives and has helped so many is now in need of support.
I will never forget the doctor's words at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, “Kidney cancer”. My heart felt like it skipped a beat. This is not what I want for my brother. Why does he have to suffer? I asked myself. Adesh now faces severe weight loss as he tries his best to fight the cancer.
What troubles my brother?
Kidney cancer also known as renal cell carcinoma, develops when kidney cells grow out of control, potentially forming a tumour that can spread to other parts of the body.

My brother desperately needs immunotherapy. So far, he has completed 10 immunotherapy sessions and has 2 more to go.
