Today, I am reaching out to you for help to save his life. My name is Pandey Jitendrakumar, and I am the father of a 7-months-old baby boy, Avyansh Jitendra Kumar Pandey. Avyansh is not just my son; he is our family’s world – an innocent smile that brightens every corner of our home.
Avyansh is just a baby, unaware of the storm raging in his tiny body. He was born with a life-threatening condition called Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID), a rare genetic disorder that leaves his immune system unable to fight infections. Doctors have told us that only an urgent bone marrow transplant can save his life, and the procedure will be done at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Parel, Mumbai.
Our nightmare began when Avyansh started falling sick repeatedly. After countless doctor visits and tests, we finally received his diagnosis on March 17, 2025. The news shattered us. Our precious boy, so full of life and love, is fighting a battle no child should ever face. The doctors are clear: time is running out.
The cost of the transplant, medications, and therapy, though, is a staggering ₹29 lakh. We have already spent ₹1.5 lakh from our savings on tests and initial medications, but this treatment cost is beyond what we can manage alone. As a middle-class family from Vadodara, Gujarat, we have exhausted every resource. We are struggling to meet day-to-day expenses while trying to save for his treatment.
Despite the odds, we have faith that with your support, we can save Avyansh’s life. Your contribution will fund his life-saving transplant, hospital care, and post-treatment recovery. आज मैं आप सबसे अपने बेटे की ज़िंदगी बचाने के लिए मदद की गुहार लगा रहा हूँ। मेरा नाम पांडेय जितेंद्र कुमार है और मैं 7 महीने के बच्चे अव्यांश जितेंद्र कुमार पांडेय का पिता हूँ। अव्यांश सिर्फ मेरा बेटा नहीं है, वह हमारे परिवार की पूरी दुनिया है – उसकी मासूम मुस्कान हर कोने को रोशन कर देती है।
अव्यांश अभी सिर्फ एक बच्चा है, और उसे पता भी नहीं है कि उसके छोटे से शरीर में कैसी भीषण बीमारी चल रही है। वह एक जानलेवा बीमारी सीवियर कंबाइंड इम्यूनोडेफिशिएंसी (SCID) से पीड़ित है। यह एक दुर्लभ जेनेटिक बीमारी है, जिसमें शरीर की रोग-प्रतिरोधक क्षमता खत्म हो जाती है और बच्चा किसी भी संक्रमण से लड़ नहीं पाता। डॉक्टरों ने बताया है कि सिर्फ अत्यावश्यक बोन मैरो ट्रांसप्लांट ही उसकी ज़िंदगी बचा सकता है। यह प्रक्रिया बाई जेरबाई वाडिया हॉस्पिटल फॉर चिल्ड्रन, परेल, मुंबई में होगी।
हमारी परेशानी तब शुरू हुई जब अव्यांश बार-बार बीमार पड़ने लगा। कई डॉक्टरों को दिखाने और तमाम जाँचों के बाद, 17 मार्च 2025 को हमें यह भयावह खबर मिली। यह सुनकर हमारी दुनिया टूट गई। हमारा मासूम बेटा, जो प्यार और जीवन से भरा हुआ है, अब ऐसी लड़ाई लड़ रहा है जो किसी भी बच्चे को नहीं लड़नी चाहिए। डॉक्टरों ने साफ कहा है – समय बहुत कम है।
इलाज, दवाइयों और थेरेपी की कुल लागत लगभग ₹29 लाख है। अब तक हमने अपनी बचत से लगभग ₹1.5 लाख खर्च किए हैं, लेकिन बाकी राशि हमारे लिए बिल्कुल असंभव है। वडोदरा, गुजरात का एक मध्यमवर्गीय परिवार होने के नाते हमने हर संभव कोशिश की है, पर अब रोज़मर्रा के खर्च पूरे करना भी मुश्किल हो गया है।
फिर भी हमें विश्वास है कि आपकी मदद से हम अव्यांश की ज़िंदगी बचा सकते हैं। आपका सहयोग – चाहे छोटा हो या बड़ा – उसके लिए जीवनदान साबित होगा। हर एक रुपया हमें उसके इलाज और स्वस्थ होने के एक कदम और करीब ले जाएगा। हम सामूहिकता और दया की शक्ति पर विश्वास करते हैं और अब सारी उम्मीदें आप सब पर टिकी हैं।
