The pain that a parent feels when they watch their little one fight for life isn’t like any other. I just could not put into words the feeling of watching my 5-year-old son Judah Lionel. His body grew weaker, he feels pain in his stomach and legs, and his zest for life and laughter slowly started to fade.
In October of 2025, we were given the news by the doctors at Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital in Chennai, “Neuroblastoma.” That word scared me…
Neuroblastoma is a type of cancer that forms in immature nerve cells (neuroblasts)

How do I give him the hope that healing exists when every day is a struggle for him? How do I assure him that everything will be okay when his life revolves around hospital rooms instead of playgrounds? How can I save his life? Questions like these haunt my mind. Now, I just ask his doctors about the next step ahead. The one question that will give me the answer to my son’s healing.
What is the treatment required?
I was told that my son needs intensive chemotherapy for 4 months (8 cycles planned), immunotherapy, followed by radiation therapy and a possible bone marrow transplant. “It is urgent and life-saving,’ said the doctors.
As a mother, I am doing everything I can to try and make my son’s life a little easy but I cannot do this alone. He needs your support to fight this aggressive neuroblastoma.
My little one asks me when he will be okay and all I can say is that I am by his side. But, now, he needs to know that you are too. We have already spent around 3 lakh rupees but we still need lakhs more.
