My name is Sanika Jade, and I am raising funds for my 26-year-old brother, Shubham Anil Jade, who is fighting for his life after suffering from Acute Liver Failure. He is undergoing treatment at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai.
Just a little over a year ago, our family faced an unimaginable loss when my father suffered a severe heart attack. He spent nearly a month in the ICU, but despite every effort, we lost him. His treatment cost us around ₹20–25 lakh, exhausting our savings and leaving our family in financial distress.
While we were still trying to rebuild our lives, another tragedy struck. My brother suddenly developed Acute Liver Failure, and his condition worsened rapidly. The doctors informed us that an emergency liver transplant was the only way to save his life.
With no deceased donor available in time, my mother made the bravest decision of her life and donated a part of her liver to save her son. Thanks to her selfless act, the transplant was successful, giving my brother a second chance at life.
However, his journey is far from over. Shubham remains in the ICU after developing a serious lung infection and requires constant monitoring, expensive medications, investigations, and intensive medical care. At the same time, my mother is recovering from donor surgery and is unable to work. As the only other family member, I am caring for both of them while struggling to manage the overwhelming medical expenses.
Despite exhausting our savings and borrowing from relatives and friends, we still need ₹24,50,000 to continue my brother's treatment. We humbly ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time.
