My name is Shiva Prashanth Banoth, and I am raising funds for my brother, Sai Kumar, who is fighting a long and difficult battle to recover after suffering a severe brain stroke.

On 8th March 2026 at around 2:30 PM, our lives changed forever when Sai Kumar suddenly suffered a massive brain stroke. He was immediately rushed to Sunrise Hospital, Hayath Nagar, Hyderabad, where doctors discovered multiple blood clots in his brain that had led to a brain hemorrhage. His condition was extremely critical, and he was shifted to the ICU for emergency treatment.

In the early hours of 9th March, he was transferred to Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda, for advanced neurological care. He remained admitted in the CCU for 11 days, fighting for his life while doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize his condition.

Although he survived this life-threatening medical emergency, the stroke left him with significant neurological complications. Doctors advised long-term rehabilitation care, including intensive physiotherapy and specialized treatment, to help him regain his mobility, speech, and independence.

Following his discharge, Sai Kumar was admitted to Ananta Rehabilitation Center, where he underwent rehabilitation for 45 days. On 30th April, he was shifted to Hyderabad Rehabilitation Center, where he continues to receive treatment and rehabilitation care.

The recovery process after a severe brain stroke is long and challenging. Every day involves physiotherapy sessions, rehabilitation exercises, medical supervision, and continuous care. Despite the difficulties, Sai Kumar continues to fight with determination and hope.

The financial burden on our family has become overwhelming. So far, we have spent approximately ₹41 lakhs on his treatment and rehabilitation. Of this amount, ₹20 lakhs was covered through insurance, while the remaining ₹21 lakhs was arranged through our family savings and by selling our gold assets. Despite these efforts, the ongoing medical expenses continue to place a significant strain on our family’s finances. However, his rehabilitation must continue for at least 4 more months, and the monthly rehabilitation expense is approximately ₹3 lakhs, requiring ₹6 lakhs for his ongoing care.

As his brother, it is heartbreaking to watch him struggle through this recovery journey. We are doing everything possible to support him, but the cost of prolonged rehabilitation is beyond our family's capacity.

మార్చి 9వ తేదీ తెల్లవారుజామున ఆయనను మెరుగైన న్యూరాలజీ చికిత్స కోసం హైదరాబాద్‌లోని సోమాజిగూడలో ఉన్న యశోద హాస్పిటల్‌కు తరలించారు. అక్కడ ఆయన 11 రోజుల పాటు సీసీయూలో చికిత్స పొందుతూ ప్రాణాలతో పోరాడారు. వైద్యులు ఆయన పరిస్థితిని స్థిరపరచడానికి నిరంతరం శ్రమించారు.

ఈ ప్రాణాపాయ పరిస్థితి నుంచి బయటపడినప్పటికీ, స్ట్రోక్ కారణంగా ఆయనకు తీవ్రమైన న్యూరాలజికల్ సమస్యలు ఏర్పడ్డాయి. నడక, మాట, మరియు రోజువారీ పనుల్లో స్వతంత్రతను తిరిగి పొందేందుకు దీర్ఘకాలిక పునరావాస చికిత్స, ఇంటెన్సివ్ ఫిజియోథెరపీ మరియు ప్రత్యేక వైద్య సంరక్షణ అవసరమని వైద్యులు సూచించారు.

హాస్పిటల్ నుంచి డిశ్చార్జ్ అయిన తరువాత సాయి కుమార్‌ను అనంత రిహాబిలిటేషన్ సెంటర్‌లో చేర్పించగా, అక్కడ 45 రోజుల పాటు పునరావాస చికిత్స పొందారు. అనంతరం ఏప్రిల్ 30న ఆయనను హైదరాబాద్ రిహాబిలిటేషన్ సెంటర్‌కు తరలించారు. ప్రస్తుతం అక్కడే చికిత్స మరియు పునరావాస సేవలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.
