All my life, my mother has been our family’s quiet strength. She carried our worries without ever showing her own, and she stood by us through every challenge. Today, the woman who protected us from every storm is lying in the ICU, fighting for her own life.
My name is Shwetang Keny. My mother, Rupali Keny, 54 years old, is currently in the ICU on a ventilator at CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital, Mumbai. Eleven days ago, she was rushed to the hospital in an emergency. Everything happened so suddenly. We never imagined that one moment she would be at home, and the next, she would be fighting for her life.
After admission to the ICU, doctors diagnosed a blood clot in her brain caused by Acute Intracerebral Haemorrhage. My mother went into a coma. Though she has now come out of the coma, she remains unconscious and dependent on strong medications and ventilator support. The clot is taking a long time to dissolve. Doctors have told us that recovery is going to be slow and may take more than three months for her to regain even 40% improvement.
There are four of us in the family: my mother, my father, my elder brother, and me. My father is the only earning member, and his income comes solely from his pension. So far, we have already spent many lakhs on her ICU treatment. We now need your urgent help to continue her care.

My mother’s only dream has always been to see her children succeed and live a comfortable, worry-free life. She has sacrificed everything for us. Now it is our turn to fight for her.
I humbly request you to please support us in this difficult time. Your contribution will help us continue her ICU treatment and give her a chance to recover.
