My name is Rachit Garg, and I am raising funds for my mother, Richa Garg, who is currently admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and going through one of the most difficult phases of her life.

My mother was diagnosed with SMV Thrombosis, which severely affected her intestine and caused gangrene to develop. Because of her critical condition, she had to undergo an emergency surgery.

Thankfully, my mother’s first surgery was successful. The affected portion was treated, and we are grateful to the doctors for helping her through that critical stage.

However, her treatment is not over yet. As the next stage of her treatment, doctors have advised another surgery to reconnect her stomach and intestine. This procedure is important for her recovery and is the next step toward helping her return to a normal life.

Thankfully, the operated intestine has not developed any kind of infection. But my mother still needs to undergo the second surgery and continue receiving medical care under the doctors’ supervision.

The estimated cost of her complete treatment and upcoming surgery is around ₹30 lakhs. So far, our family has already spent approximately ₹9.50 lakhs, using our savings and whatever resources we could arrange.

We never imagined that our family would have to face such a difficult medical and financial situation. But when it comes to my mother’s life, we are determined to do everything possible to get her the treatment she needs.

My mother has spent 8 years working as a school teacher. She dedicated those years to educating children, caring for them, and helping shape their future. She has always been a source of strength and support for our family.

Today, the woman who spent years caring for and educating others is the one who needs our care and support.

As her son, seeing my mother go through surgeries and such a difficult recovery is heartbreaking. We have already used a large part of our savings for her treatment, and the remaining medical expenses are now becoming impossible for us to manage alone.

My mother has already successfully fought through her first surgery. Now, we just want to help her complete the next step of her recovery and bring her home safely.

हमें बहुत राहत है कि मेरी माँ की पहली सर्जरी सफल रही। इस मुश्किल समय में डॉक्टरों ने उनकी जान बचाने के लिए पूरी कोशिश की और हम उनके आभारी हैं।

लेकिन अभी उनका इलाज पूरा नहीं हुआ है।

अब डॉक्टरों ने इलाज के अगले चरण के रूप में पेट और आंत को दोबारा जोड़ने के लिए दूसरी सर्जरी कराने की सलाह दी है। यह सर्जरी उनकी रिकवरी के लिए बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है और उनके सामान्य जीवन की ओर लौटने की दिशा में अगला कदम है।

हमें इस बात की भी राहत है कि ऑपरेशन की गई आंत में किसी भी तरह का संक्रमण नहीं हुआ है। लेकिन इसके बावजूद मेरी माँ को दूसरी सर्जरी और लगातार चिकित्सा देखभाल की जरूरत है।

उनके पूरे इलाज और आने वाली सर्जरी का अनुमानित खर्च लगभग ₹30 लाख है। अब तक हमारा परिवार करीब ₹9.50 लाख खर्च कर चुका है। यह रकम हमने अपनी बचत और उपलब्ध संसाधनों से जुटाई है।

हमने कभी नहीं सोचा था कि हमारा परिवार इतनी बड़ी मेडिकल और आर्थिक मुश्किल का सामना करेगा। लेकिन जब बात मेरी माँ की जिंदगी की है, तो हम उन्हें बचाने और उनका इलाज जारी रखने के लिए हर संभव कोशिश कर रहे हैं।

मेरी माँ ने अपने जीवन के 8 साल एक स्कूल टीचर के रूप में बच्चों को पढ़ाने और उनका भविष्य संवारने में बिताए हैं। उन्होंने हमेशा दूसरों की देखभाल की, बच्चों को शिक्षा दी और हमारे परिवार के लिए एक मजबूत सहारा बनी रहीं।

आज वही महिला, जिसने वर्षों तक दूसरों की देखभाल और शिक्षा के लिए अपना जीवन समर्पित किया, खुद हमारी देखभाल और मदद की जरूरत में है।

एक बेटे के रूप में अपनी माँ को इस तरह सर्जरी और इलाज से गुजरते हुए देखना मेरे लिए बेहद दर्दनाक है। हम अपनी बचत का एक बड़ा हिस्सा उनके इलाज में लगा चुके हैं और अब आगे का खर्च हमारे लिए अकेले उठाना बहुत मुश्किल हो गया है।

मेरी माँ ने अपनी पहली सर्जरी सफलतापूर्वक पार कर ली है। अब हम बस उनकी दूसरी सर्जरी पूरी करवाकर उन्हें सुरक्षित और स्वस्थ घर वापस लाना चाहते हैं।

उन्होंने वर्षों तक दूसरों की देखभाल की है।
