Prem Lost Both Parents in One Night. Now, He is Fighting for His Life Alone.

My name is Ritika Malkhede, and I am writing this with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart. On the night of March 22nd, the world stopped for my friend, Prem Mallikarjun Ambegave.

A horrific road accident snatched away both of Prem’s parents in an instant. In one single moment, he went from being a beloved son to an orphan fighting for his life in the ICU.

He is currently in critical condition at Jupiter Hospital, Baner, Pune, battling severe injuries from the Accidental Emergency. He has survived the first few days, but his battle is far from over. He is currently all alone, with no parents to pray by his bedside or worry about his bills.

We have managed to spend ₹3.5 Lakhs so far, but the road to his recovery is long and incredibly expensive. The hospital has estimated the remaining treatment cost at ₹20,00,000 (20 Lakhs).

Prem is only 20 years old. He has his whole life ahead of him, but right now, he is buried under medical machines and a mountain of debt he cannot pay. As his friends, we are doing everything we can, but we cannot replace the support of his parents. We need YOU to be his family now.

सध्या तो पुण्यातील बाणेर येथील ज्युपिटर हॉस्पिटलमध्ये अतिशय गंभीर अवस्थेत उपचार घेत आहे. अपघातामुळे झालेल्या गंभीर दुखापतींशी तो झुंज देत आहे. सुरुवातीचे काही दिवस त्याने पार केले आहेत, पण त्याची लढाई अजून खूप मोठी आहे. तो पूर्णपणे एकटा आहे—त्याच्या जवळ प्रार्थना करणारे किंवा त्याच्या खर्चाची काळजी करणारे आई-वडील नाहीत.

आत्तापर्यंत आम्ही ₹३.५ लाख खर्च केले आहेत, पण त्याच्या उपचारांचा प्रवास अजून खूप लांब आणि अत्यंत खर्चिक आहे. रुग्णालयाने उर्वरित उपचारांसाठी ₹२०,००,००० (२० लाख) खर्चाचा अंदाज दिला आहे.
