About My Daughter
My name is Nivetha, and I am reaching out with a mother’s deepest hope and urgency to seek your kind support for my beloved daughter, Vedashree, who is suffering from major Thalassemia.
She is currently undergoing regular blood transfusions to survive and maintain her health. Every transfusion is essential for her life and wellbeing, and she needs continuous medical care at this stage.
Current Treatment
Vedashree is receiving treatment at Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital, Chennai, where doctors are closely monitoring her condition.
She is expected to require a Bone Marrow Transplant after 2.5 years, which is the only long-term cure for her condition. Until then, she needs ongoing transfusions, medicines, and regular hospital visits.
Financial Struggle
As parents, we are going through an extremely painful and helpless situation.
We have already spent around ₹3,00,000 on her treatment, including hospital stays, blood transfusions, medicines, and tests. Despite our best efforts, our financial resources are now exhausted.
Doctors have estimated that her future treatment, including the Bone Marrow Transplant, will cost around ₹35,00,000 more, which is far beyond our capacity.

The goal amount of the campaign may be higher than the attached estimates to address and aid the post-hospitalization expenses/contingencies including but not limited to prolonged medication, diagnostics, rehabilitation therapies, and follow-up doctor visits/consultations which vary from disease to disease.
