Help Punjab’s Flood Survivors Rebuild Their Lives

In Punjab, an unimaginable tragedy has struck. Torrential floods have submerged entire villages, leaving families who once lived with dignity now struggling without food, clothes, or shelter. The devastation is everywhere—homes destroyed, fields drowned, and livelihoods lost.

One farmer stood helplessly at the edge of his submerged land, telling Global Sikhs volunteers how his lifetime of hard work was washed away in just a few hours. Mothers cling tightly to their children, praying for the next meal, while the elderly sit silently, watching their homes and memories vanish into the floodwaters. For daily wage earners and small farmers, this disaster is more than nature’s fury—it is the complete loss of survival.

Amid this despair, Global Sikhs has stepped forward as a lifeline. Their volunteers are already on the ground:

• Rescuing stranded families from submerged villages
•  Providing daily essentials, dry groceries, clean drinking water, and basic medical support
•  Preparing for the next step—temporary shelter and long-term rehabilitation—to restore dignity and help families rebuild their lives

But the need is overwhelming. Each day, more families reach out in desperation for relief. Without immediate support, many will continue to go hungry, cold, and hopeless.
