Mahua is not just my wife; she is the heart of our little family and the mother of our child. A few months ago, our lives were filled with normal dreams and simple happiness. Today, our days and nights revolve around hospital corridors, blood reports, and prayers. Mahua is battling Leukemia, and watching the person you love suffer every single day is something I cannot explain in words. There are days when she bleeds unexpectedly, her body becomes extremely weak, and her blood parameters suddenly drop.
Even now, she is still admitted to the hospital because her condition is not stable. She needs regular blood and platelet transfusions just to keep fighting. Doctors have started treatment with ATRA and ATO medicines for APL Leukaemia, but they have told us this is a long journey, nearly two years of treatment and constant monitoring.
Because her immunity has become very weak, Mahua also developed a painful Herpes infection, and along with cancer treatment, strong antibiotics and medicines are continuing every day.

Some nights, I sit beside her hospital bed and quietly wonder how life changed so fast. Our biggest dream was simple, to raise our child together, to give her a happy and secure life, to watch her grow with both her parents beside her. Mahua still smiles whenever she talks about our child, even in this condition. That smile gives me the strength to keep going. I am trying my best as a husband, a father, and her support system, but emotionally and financially, this battle has become overwhelming for us.

क्योंकि उसकी रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बहुत कमजोर हो गई है, महुआ को दर्दनाक हर्पीस संक्रमण भी हो गया है, और कैंसर के इलाज के साथ-साथ, उसे रोजाना मजबूत एंटीबायोटिक्स और दवाइयाँ दी जा रही हैं।
