Hi, I am SaiBalaji, Anvesh’s brother-in-law.

I’ve watched Anvesh slowly shrink into this illness, and that’s the hardest part. Kidney failure doesn’t hit all at once, it takes things away bit by bit. I see him stop himself from drinking water when he’s clearly thirsty, push food aside even when he’s hungry, and still try to smile in front of his kids.

As a brother-in-law, you want to fix things and protect your family, but all you can really do is stand there and feel helpless. The doctors have told us clearly that a kidney transplant is the only way forward. It’s not optional, it’s not something we can delay. It’s life-saving.

I want to see him healthy enough to play with his children, to work, to plan their education, and to worry about normal things again.
