At 22, Bhavishay was full of ambition. Pursuing B.Tech in Biotechnology and dreamed of building a career in science. He wanted to innovate, discover, and make his family proud.
Then one accident changed everything….
Bhavishay suffered severe trauma and a leg fracture. Since that day, he has been lying unconscious in the ICU. The machines beep where his laughter once filled the room. Tubes and monitors surround him instead of his books.
As I stand beside his ICU bed, I keep talking to him. I tell him about his college. I tell him his dreams are waiting. I hold his hand and pray he can hear me.
What is the treatment required?
Doctors at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, Gurugram have informed us that surgery for his fractured leg will only be possible once he regains consciousness and stabilizes. Until then, he remains under continuous critical care.
His parents are physically handicapped and unable to work. There are no earning members in the family. We have already spent approximately ₹28 lakhs on his treatment, arranging funds through relatives and family but the expenses continue to rise every single day and now he needs lakhs more to recover from the severe accident.
Bhavishay had dreams of healing the world through science. Today, he needs the world to help heal him. As his uncle, I cannot give up. I will stand for him until he opens his eyes again.
