Stand With Asim in His Fight Against Aplastic Anaemia

My name is Irsad Khan, and I am raising funds for my son, Aasim Khan, who is bravely battling Aplastic Anaemia for the past 2 years. He has already undergone extensive treatment, but now doctors have advised a second Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (Bone Marrow Transplant – BMT) as the only way forward. We have already spent ₹50–70 lakhs, even selling our gold and valuables to save him.

Now, we urgently need ₹30,00,000 more to continue his life-saving treatment. As a father, it is heartbreaking to ask for help, but today, I have no other option to save my child.

Aasim is just a young boy who should be playing, studying, and enjoying his childhood. Instead, his life has been filled with hospital visits, injections, and long days of treatment. Over the last two years, he has shown strength beyond his age. Despite pain and weakness, he continues to fight quietly, holding onto hope.

Aplastic Anaemia is a serious condition where the body stops producing enough blood cells. This leads to extreme weakness, frequent infections, and a constant need for blood and platelet transfusions. In Aasim’s case, his condition has reached a stage where a second transplant is necessary for survival. Without it, his body cannot recover.

His treatment plan includes:

• Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT / HSCT) for long-term recovery
• Pre-transplant chemotherapy and preparation
• Blood and platelet transfusions
• Infection prevention and intensive care
• Hospitalization for 6–8 weeks under specialist care
• Post-transplant monitoring and medications

Even after everything he has been through, Aasim still smiles sometimes. He asks simple questions like when he can go home or play again. Those moments break our hearts, but they also give us strength. He is not just fighting a disease—he is fighting for a chance to live a normal life.

As a family, we have exhausted all our resources. Selling our gold and savings was not easy, but we did it without thinking twice for our son. Now, arranging such a large amount again is beyond our capacity. It is painful to feel helpless when his life depends on timely treatment.

एप्लास्टिक एनीमिया एक गंभीर बीमारी है जिसमें शरीर पर्याप्त मात्रा में रक्त कोशिकाएँ बनाना बंद कर देता है। इससे बहुत ज़्यादा कमज़ोरी आती है, बार-बार इन्फेक्शन होता है, और लगातार खून और प्लेटलेट चढ़ाने की ज़रूरत पड़ती है। आसिम के मामले में, उसकी हालत उस मोड़ पर पहुँच गई है जहाँ ज़िंदा रहने के लिए दूसरा ट्रांसप्लांट ज़रूरी हो गया है। इसके बिना, उसका शरीर ठीक नहीं हो सकता।

इतना सब कुछ झेलने के बाद भी, आसिम कभी-कभी मुस्कुराता है। वह मासूमियत भरे सवाल पूछता है, जैसे कि वह घर कब जा पाएगा या फिर से कब खेल पाएगा। ये पल हमारे दिलों को तोड़ देते हैं, लेकिन साथ ही हमें हिम्मत भी देते हैं। वह सिर्फ़ एक बीमारी से ही नहीं लड़ रहा है—बल्कि वह एक सामान्य ज़िंदगी जीने के मौके के लिए लड़ रहा है।
