 Dear Donors,
We are extremely grateful to our past donors & our prospective ones and would like to share the update on our Annapurna Initiative to feed the needy during this Covid crisis.
Thanks to your support, we have been able to raise funds over INR 6,00,000/- .
We have already provided 1 month's groceries to 3 residential units of people with disabilities in Mumbai totaling up to 100 residents.
We are in the process of sending 1 month's grocery kits to :
1)135 families with Visually Impaired people at Vangani & Shelu near Mumbai.
2) 30 families having Intellectually impaired people at Kurla.
3) 100 physically disabled families near Dadar, Prabhadevi & in the suburbs.
4) 50 underprivileged families in suburbs.
The Annapurna grocery kit will comprise 5 kg Rice, 2 kg Tuvar Daal, 1-liter oil pouch, 5 kg Wheat flour, 2 kgs sugar, Salt, Turmeric & chili powder & Lentils, Onions, Potatoes & some biscuits.
We are tying up with NGOs like Santosh Institute for Mentally Challenged, MBA Foundation, Chehak Trust, Netradeep Pratishthan, HELP, Prayas Ek Koshish, Avian Palak Sangh, Blossom Disability Foundation & reaching out to the beneficiaries through them.
We are distributing these grocery kits with the help of wholesale grocery vendors as well as local grocery /provision shops.
