My name is Yerrola Kranthikar Reddy, and I am raising funds for my beloved daughter, Baby Yerrola Nayanika Sree Reddy, who is just 8 months old and fighting a serious and life-threatening neurological condition.

Nayanika was diagnosed with Communicating Hydrocephalus with a Posterior Fossa Arachnoid Cyst, a condition that causes excessive fluid accumulation inside the brain, leading to dangerous pressure that can severely affect brain development and become life-threatening without timely treatment.

Since infancy, our daughter has undergone a difficult medical journey. To save her life, doctors performed major neurosurgical procedures, including a Programmable Ventriculoperitoneal (VP) Shunt and a Cystoperitoneal Shunt to drain excess fluid from her brain.

Just when we believed she was recovering, her condition worsened. She suddenly developed repeated vomiting, excessive sleepiness, poor feeding, and reduced activity. We rushed her to Rainbow Children's Hospital, Hyderabad, where doctors discovered that she had developed increased intracranial pressure (ICP) due to a Right Frontotemporal Subdural Hygroma and Posterior Fossa Cyst.

She immediately underwent another emergency brain surgery, Right Frontal and Parietal Burr Hole Evacuation with Subdural Drain Placement, followed by ICU care, continuous monitoring, medications, and specialized neurological treatment.

Over the past several months, our little girl has undergone multiple surgeries, ICU admissions, scans, investigations, medications, and hospital stays. The emotional and financial burden on our family has been overwhelming.

The overall cost of her treatment, surgeries, hospitalization, ICU care, medicines, and follow-up management has already reached nearly ₹20,00,000.

Out of this, our family has somehow managed to arrange and spend around ₹10,00,000 by exhausting our savings, taking loans, borrowing from relatives and friends, and even selling my wife's gold jewellery.

Despite all our sacrifices, we are no longer able to bear the mounting medical expenses alone.

Due to the complexity of Nayanika's condition, doctors have advised continued neurological monitoring and informed us that she may require further critical surgeries, hospitalization, intensive care support, investigations, and long-term treatment if complications arise in the future.

We are therefore seeking support to raise the remaining funds required for her ongoing treatment and future medical care.

Every day is crucial for our daughter, and any delay in treatment could put her recovery at risk. As parents, it is heartbreaking to watch our baby endure so much pain at such a young age. Yet we continue to hold on to hope and pray that she gets the chance to live a healthy and happy life.
