Dear Donors,

It breaks my heart to share the sad news of my wife, Sreelaxmi's demise. 

With your generous donations, she was able to get a stem cell transplant. We were positive the transplant would change her life for the better.

Unfortunately, she contracted an infection in the lower respiratory tract (pneumonia) after the transplant which impaired her ability to breathe. Her blood pressure suddenly plummetted and she suffered a cardiac arrest. The doctors tried to resuscitate her, but it was unsuccessful.

Sreelaxmi has left me with her fondest memories and two beautiful sons. It is now my only wish and mission to bring up our children well, just like Sreelaxmi had envisioned.

Thank you so much for understanding how crucial it was that our sons grew up with their mother around. I can never thank you enough for your generous donations. 

My only request to you now is that you pray for her departed soul.
