My son Raushan Kumar is just 30 years old… a simple farmer who has spent his life taking care of us. He is the backbone of our family, the one who made sure there was always food on our plates and hope in our hearts.

Just a few days ago, he was working in the fields like any other day. We never imagined that our lives would change overnight. Around the 9th of April, his health suddenly worsened… and now doctors have told us that he is suffering from severe liver failure. His liver has completely failed, and now even his kidneys are getting damaged.

Today, instead of standing strong for his family, he lies weak in a hospital bed, surrounded by machines. As a mother, I feel helpless watching my own son struggle for every moment of life. I cannot take away his pain… I can only sit beside him and pray.

I cannot help but think about my grandchildren, Raushan’s two little children wait for him at home. His son, just 2 years old, keeps asking, “When will Papa be okay?” His baby girl is only a few months old… she hasn’t even had the chance to know her father’s love. And Raushan keeps telling me with tears in his eyes, “Ma, I want to take care of my little children.”

Doctors have told us that only an urgent liver transplant can save his life. But the cost is far beyond what we can ever arrange. With each passing day, his condition is getting worse, and time is slipping away from our hands.

We have already sold our land, our jewellery, and used all our savings around ₹3 lakhs, just to keep his treatment going till now. But, Raushan still needs lakhs more.
