Ever Since the beginning of the lockdown our Thozhilalar Kural IVR platform has been flooded with requests for relief support from people across southern districts of Tamil Nadu. To address their request we networked with various NGOs across tamil nadu and provided ration materials to marginalized communities who were largely affected by the lockdown. We also received relief requests from differently abled communities across tamil nadu. Since they were scattered across various parts of the state It was nearly impossible to provide relief support to all. So, we provide relief support by distributing relief funds (Rs.500) directly to their bank accounts. With the help of online donors (Impactguru) we were able to distribute relief funds to 97 differently abled persons in the first phase of distribution. And now in the second phase we were able to distribute funds to 97 differently abled persons across tamil nadu.
