This girl child aged 2 yrs , from deep interior Malavalli, in Mandya district. Born with Right Eye cataract being detected just few days ago . This was due to less common cause called PFV ( persistent fetal Vasculature ) leading to opacification of back of human crystalline lens and results in total cataract, lazy eye etc . This kid had cataract surgery+ IOL implantation+ Primary posterior capsulotomy+ Anterior Vitrectomy - state of art procedure for this condition Today morning. We share with you images of child, eye under surgical microscope, After removing cataract with dense plaque in back of the Lens bag and final picture at conclusion.     Thank you yet again on behalf of parents of this lovely girl and on behalf of Usha Kiran.
