“He’s Just 8 Months Old—Fighting to Breathe, to Live. Please Help Us Save Our Baby”
Dear compassionate hearts,
My name is Sushant Kumar, and I am the father of Vedansh Singh, my 8-month-old baby boy—our little bundle of joy who brought light into our lives the moment he was born.
Today, that light is flickering.
Vedansh has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1, a rare and devastating genetic disorder that affects every muscle in his tiny body, including the ones that help him breathe, swallow, and move. Every hour without treatment is a risk to his life. He’s already struggling. We’re watching our baby slowly lose the ability to even hold his head up… and there’s nothing more terrifying for a parent.
There is only one hope—Zolgensma, a life-saving gene therapy. But the cost is beyond anything we could have imagined: ₹ 9 Crores. Yes, you read that right. ₹ 9Crores, as the first instalment amount. It feels like an impossible number… but as parents, we can’t give up. We won't give up.
We’ve already spent everything we had on tests, machines, and hospital visits. But now we are left with empty hands and eyes full of tears, begging the world for a chance, just one chance to save our son’s life.
Vedansh doesn’t know what’s happening to him. He smiles through the pain. He still tries to look for us when he hears our voices. He doesn’t deserve this suffering. No child does.
I’m writing this not just as a father, but as a broken man who has nothing left but
hope—and your kindness. Please, help us. Help us raise this unimaginable amount. Every rupee matters. Every share spreads his story further. Every act of kindness brings us one step closer to saving our son.
🙏 Please donate. Please share.
Let’s give Vedansh the chance to breathe, to move, to live.
💔 Your support could be the miracle we are praying for.
“The battle of life can be won with kindness. Show that you care. Help us bring our baby back to life.”
With folded hands and a heart full of hope,
Sushant Kumar
Father of Vedansh Singh
The funds are currently being raised for the gene therapy treatment Zolgensma. However, the family may opt for an alternative treatment that is more cost-effective.
The goal amount of the campaign may be higher than the attached estimates to address and aid the post-hospitalization expenses/contingencies including but not limited to prolonged medication, diagnostics, rehabilitation therapies, and follow-up doctor visits/consultations which vary from disease to disease.
