My cousin Sivaram who has always provided for his family as their only earning member, now finds himself unable to work due to a sudden health crisis. He has two daughters—one in her teens—and their family is truly struggling post his health crisis.
He was recently required to undergo two critical surgeries in the brain. The first surgery has already been completed (Skull opened and removal completed), but now the family is facing immense difficulty arranging funds for the second one to replace his skull bone back in place, which is a equally vital operation, which must take place within the next 10 days. The financial burden, especially after he had to leave his job, is overwhelming.
