3-year-old Sekh Izaz has already fought a battle that no child should ever face. Last year, his family’s world turned upside down when he was diagnosed with cancer. After months of chemotherapy and radiation, his parents finally saw a glimmer of hope—his treatment was working. They believed their little boy would be safe.
But just as they thought the worst was over, another challenge struck. As a side effect of his treatment, Izaz’s lungs became severely infected. In January 2025, his condition worsened, making it impossible for him to breathe on his own. On February 18, he was admitted to the hospital, where he remains on a ventilator, fighting for every breath.
Izaz’s parents have not left his side. The Institute of Child Health Hospital is hours away from their home, so they sleep in the waiting area, too afraid to leave him alone. His father, a daily wage labourer, has done everything possible to afford his ICU stay and related treatments, but they have nothing left.
“Izaz asks me, ‘Maa, why are you crying?’ I smile and tell him he will be home soon,” his mother shares, holding back tears.
With Ramzan here, his parents pray for a miracle. They dream of taking Izaz home, where he can celebrate Eid, not in a hospital bed, but in his mother’s arms.
This Ramzan, your kindness can help Izaz recover. Let’s come together so this little fighter can survive this battle too. Donate & share today!
Your Donation Is Helping Not 1 But 3 People!
Your donation towards this fundraiser is not only helping Sekh Izaz recover from ARDS in K/C/O Rhabdomyosarcoma but also helping two more patients in need:
Six-year-old Abdul Ahad has spent the last two years battling aplastic anemia, a rare condition that prevents his body from producing healthy blood cells. Diagnosed at age four, he requires frequent blood and platelet transfusions, often staying in the hospital for days. Despite a bone marrow transplant, his condition remains unstable, and doctors now recommend an Allogeneic stem cell transplant at Fortis Hospital. His father, a welder, earns little, and his mother donates blood regularly to support him. With treatment costs escalating, the family is struggling. Abdul dreams of going to school someday—a future that now depends on timely support.
Aradhita, 26, battles Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II, leaving her paralyzed and dependent on her parents. Her family seeks ₹5 crores for Risdiplam treatment. Despite her artistic passion, Aradhita struggles with basic tasks. She dreams of independence but feels like a burden. Her parents, despite their love and reassurance, are helpless. Aradhita's story is a plea for help, a chance at a normal life.
Your donation towards this fundraiser will support both their treatments.
