While everyone else was getting ready to welcome the New Year with smiles and celebrations, my world came crashing down. Instead of hope, my heart was filled with fear. Instead of joy, there were prayers…..

I will never forget that phone call. “Your son has met with a serious accident. He’s been rushed to the hospital.”

My name is Aamenaben. On 28th December 2025, when the world was counting down to a new beginning, I was standing outside an ICU, waiting, just hoping to see my son once.

That accident changed everything. My son Huzefa, just 26 years old, suffered a brain haemorrhage and had to be put on a ventilator immediately. He spent many painful days in the ICU, and even now, his condition is still very delicate.

At the moment, Huzefa is on medication and oral treatment. There is still swelling in his brain, and the doctors have told us that another brain surgery is needed. They can only do it once the swelling reduces, which may take around two months. Until then, he needs constant medical care and monitoring.

Doctors at Manipal Hospital, Hebbal, Bengaluru, have clearly told us that this surgery is critical for his recovery.

Before this accident, Huzefa was working in a hardware company and was the main earning member of our family. After the accident, everything stopped. The medical bills kept increasing, and we had no option but to take loans and borrow money from relatives. Still, managing his treatment and the upcoming surgery is difficult for us.

As a parent, I want to see my son healthy again, to see him talk, laugh, and live his life. Every day, I pray for a miracle. Today, his treatment depends on your support. Your kindness can give Huzefa a real chance to recover and get his life back.
