“People ask me why my son looks like that. He has never known what it feels like to be normal.”
Since birth, Punit has had abnormal growth on the left side of his face. As he grew, so did the swelling. At first, we didn’t know what it was—we thought it might go away. But
as time passed, his cheeks became larger, and our fears became real. We found out that he has a tumour growing along his nerve fibres and a seizure disorder.
He is just a little boy. But every day, he struggles.
He finds it difficult to eat, and sometimes he wakes up crying because of the discomfort. He doesn’t sleep well. He doesn’t play freely like other children. When he looks in the mirror, he touches his face and asks me why he’s different.
We’ve gone from one hospital to another, desperate to find help. We even managed to get an MRI done, but we couldn’t afford to start treatment. My husband works as a cleaner in a cold storage godown. His income is barely enough for our daily needs, let alone Punit’s medical bills. We have two small children—Punit and his 9 m/o sister. We live in a rented house but haven’t been able to pay rent for months.
We’re doing everything we can, but it’s not enough.
Doctors say Punit needs surgery to reduce the growth. He’ll also need stronger antibiotics and a longer hospital stay. We live two hours away from the hospital, and even traveling there feels like a mountain to climb with our income.
Right now, Punit isn’t on any regular medication—only occasional medicines for fever or pain. We’re scared that delaying surgery will only make things worse.
As a mother, I feel helpless. I just want my child to eat, sleep, smile, and play like other children. I want to take away his pain, but I can’t do it alone.
Please help us give Punit a chance at a normal childhood. Even the smallest support will bring us closer to his treatment.

Dear Donors,
Punit Singh, a 1-year-and-7-month-old baby, is battling Left Hemifacial Neurofibroma / Lipomatosis along with seizure disorders. He is being treated at Ganesh Hospital under the care of Dr. Lokesh.
Punit was admitted on 15/07/2025 and discharged on 25/07/2025. Although he is now in stable condition, his surgery has been postponed due to ongoing seizures and episodes of vomiting.
Your generous support is crucial to help Punit get through this phase and prepare for his future treatment.
Please continue to extend your prayers and donations to support his recovery.

You need not wait for donor or have the organ ready. We actually suggest you start a fundraiser as soon as you can so that you are ready with the acquired funds and can get the surgery done immediately when you do receive an organ.
Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.
Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
For all medical fundraisers, the funds will be directly transferred to the hospital’s account. Only in a few cases, based on Impact Guru’s discretion, the funds might be transferred to the campaigner or the patient’s account for postoperative or at home expenses.
In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
90%+ of Impact Guru’s campaigns raise funds leveraging our do-it-yourself fundraising platform.
The Accelerate initiative of Impact Guru caters primarily towards those individuals who are unable to create or manage their own fundraiser due to lack of education, access to smartphones, or social networks for fundraising support. Impact Guru provides fundraising support in such cases by maximizing outreach, leveraging all fundraising channels. In order to provide crucial life saving support to such patients, Impact Guru charges marketing cost paid to such third parties and its regular platform and payment gateway fees. Impact Guru's constant endeavour is to reduce such outreach costs to maximize social impact of every contribution.
