My mother has been suffering from End Stage Kidney Failure and has been advised a kidney transplant on an urgent basis. She has been on dialysis for months and her condition was getting worse quickly. She already suffered 4 attacks caused due to her failing kidneys. We somehow managed to save her life by getting her to the ICU on time. However the cost of this operation is very high and we are unable to pay for it now since my parents' medical insurance lapsed in Dec., 2017 and being senior citizens, my parents will not be able to meet new medical insurance requirements in time for her surgery.
The total cost of the surgery and post operative care are estimated to be around Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs Only).
Any amount that anybody could contribute will be of great help to us and we will be extremely grateful.
My sister is donating her kidney. Both my mother and sister are admitted at “Jaslok Hospital”, Mumbai, for this transplant. Remove
All legal formalities for this operation are already complete.
My father is 72 years old and his health is also weak.
We reside in a rented flat. We do not have properties that we can sell to fund this operation ourselves.
I'm myself a brain tumour patient so my earnings are going towards my care.
Since my mother’s kidneys have already failed, waiting for lack of funds is not an option.
I do not want to lose my mother only because of lack of enough money. Please help us save her life. Time is critical now as I do not have much time to gather such a large amount so fast.
My mother is a very affectionate, caring and loving human being and I can't lose her just because we can't afford to pay for this critical operation. Being a brain tumour patient myself and not having a steady income as of now makes me feel helpless that I can't pay for this myself. This gesture of kindness on any donor's part will never be forgotten by me and my family. May God bless everyone who took time from their lives to read this. Once she is healthy, she would like to be able to eat things without vomitting, she would love to be able to walk again without being dizzy and needing wheelchair. She keeps saying she would like to see me get better from my brain tumour and get back to active work life. She would love to get back her life and be able to spend time with us and her friends the way she used to before this illness forced her to be a vacant shell of her former happy self.
