I am Akshay S, and I am reaching out with folded hands to seek urgent support for my wife, Madhushree M, who is currently fighting for her life at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta, Bengaluru.
My wife has been diagnosed with Budd-Chiari Syndrome, a rare and serious condition in which the hepatic veins responsible for draining blood from the liver become blocked or narrowed. Due to this obstruction, blood backs up into the liver, causing severe liver damage and life-threatening complications.
Her condition has now worsened to a stage where doctors have advised an urgent liver transplant as the only hope to save her life.
Watching my wife suffer through pain, weakness, repeated hospital visits, and continuous treatment has been emotionally heartbreaking for our family. Every single day has become a struggle filled with fear, uncertainty, and prayers for her recovery.
The total cost of the liver transplant, ICU care, medicines, investigations, and post-operative treatment is around ₹36 lakh, which is completely beyond our financial capacity.
Despite exhausting our savings and available resources, we are unable to arrange such a huge amount needed to continue her treatment and transplant procedure.
At this critical stage, timely treatment and a liver transplant are extremely important for her survival and recovery.
As a husband, it is unbearable to watch the person I love fight for life while feeling helpless financially.
I humbly request you to please support my wife with any contribution you can make. No amount is small. Every donation gives us hope and brings her one step closer to recovery.
If you are unable to donate, I kindly request that you share this fundraiser with your family, friends, colleagues, and social groups so it reaches more people who may be able to help.
Your kindness, prayers, and support mean everything to us during this painful time, and we will always remain grateful for your compassion and generosity.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us in this difficult journey.
The goal amount of the campaign may be higher than the attached estimates to address and aid the post-hospitalization expenses/contingencies including but not limited to prolonged medication, diagnostics, rehabilitation therapies, and follow-up doctor visits/consultations which vary from disease to disease.
