Our names are Senthil Indiran, Swaminathan, and Mukund Moorthy, and we are reaching out to you with a plea from the bottom of our hearts. We are here to talk about our dear colleague and friend, Kunal Parashar, who has been bravely battling Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) for the past six months. ILD is a serious condition that causes lung inflammation and scarring, making it difficult to breathe and absorb oxygen
Kunal is currently on life support systems — ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) and CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy). His condition is complex and requires stabilization before he can undergo a lung transplant, which is expected to span a recovery period of 8–12 weeks.
Our hearts ache as the family has already poured in approximately Rs 50,00,000 for his treatment, with an ongoing daily medical support cost of around ₹2.5 lakhs, but the costs continue to soar. Now, our beloved Kunal urgently needs a lung transplant, advised by his doctors as his ONLY chance for survival. However, this lifesaving procedure comes with a hefty cost of Rs. 1,00,00,000 more.
