“They didn’t just work together — they built their lives together. Now they are fighting to survive.”

My name is Shankar NP, and I am raising funds for my colleagues, Bahadur Chetri and Vijendra Chaudhari, who are currently in the ICU battling severe 60% burn injuries after a devastating factory fire. What was once a place of hard work and brotherhood has now become the reason they are fighting for their lives.

A few days ago, a routine survey at our factory turned into a nightmare. A sudden and ferocious fire broke out, spreading uncontrollably within minutes. There was no time to escape. Five people were severely injured, and among them were Bahadur Chetri and Vijendra Chaudhari — men who have dedicated years of their lives to this workplace.

The fire not only caused horrific burn injuries but also completely destroyed the factory. In a single afternoon, livelihoods were reduced to ashes. The source of income that supported multiple families disappeared instantly.

Both Bahadur and Vijendra suffered 60% burn injuries, which are extremely critical and life-threatening. They are currently in the ICU, enduring intensive burn wound care, infection control treatments, multiple surgical procedures, continuous monitoring, and high-cost medications and dressings.

Burn injuries of this severity require long-term treatment, repeated surgeries, and extended hospitalization. The pain is unimaginable, and the recovery journey is long and uncertain.

We have already spent more than ₹15 Lakhs trying to stabilize them. While some injured visitors were covered by insurance, Bahadur Chetri and Vijendra Chaudhari have no insurance coverage, leaving their families completely dependent on public support.

They are not just colleagues — they are fathers, husbands, and the sole breadwinners of their families. Watching them lie helpless in the ICU, fighting infections and unbearable pain, is heartbreaking for all of us. Today, I am reaching out with folded hands. We need urgent financial support to continue their life-saving treatment, including: ICU charges, Skin grafting surgeries, Burn management procedures, Life-saving medicines, and Long-term rehabilitation.

ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ದುಃಸ್ವಪ್ನವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಹಠಾತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಭೀಕರವಾದ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು, ಕೆಲವೇ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತವಾಗಿ ಹರಡಿತು. ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಮಯವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಐದು ಜನರು ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡರು, ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹದ್ದೂರ್ ಚೆಟ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜೇಂದ್ರ ಚೌಧರಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ - ಈ ಕೆಲಸದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀಸಲಿಟ್ಟ ಪುರುಷರು.

ಈ ತೀವ್ರತೆಯ ಸುಟ್ಟ ಗಾಯಗಳಿಗೆ ದೀರ್ಘಾವಧಿಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಪುನರಾವರ್ತಿತ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ನೋವು ಊಹಿಸಲೂ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ, ಮತ್ತು ಚೇತರಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವು ದೀರ್ಘ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.
