“When I finish my treatment, I will go home.”

These words, spoken with a faint hope, echo in my mind. My name is Jayaraju, and I am a father. I have a daughter, Mokshitha. She is my world, my everything. But today, as I sit by her bedside, I know that I might be losing her—and there’s nothing I can do about it.

Mokshitha, at first glance, seems like any other child. She laughs, she plays, she dreams. But behind that innocent smile lies a silent battle, one that she has been fighting for the past year. A battle with a rare and deadly disorder known as GSD Type IB. This disease is slowly destroying her liver, and with it, her hope for a future.

It began subtly, at first. She complained of stomach pain. We thought it was a simple illness, something she could recover from. But it didn’t go away. In fact, it only got worse. Then came the loss of appetite. She could no longer eat food, she couldn’t even drink water. Her body was rejecting everything she tried to consume.

But this wasn’t just about the pain. This was about watching my little girl suffer—falling down as she tried to walk, blood coming from her mouth and nose. Mokshitha’s liver had failed. Her stomach had swollen dangerously large, and the disease was now targeting her kidneys and heart.

The doctors were clear: the only thing that could save her now was a liver transplant. But they also told me that if she didn’t undergo surgery within a week, she wouldn’t survive. The disease would take her life, and there was nothing I could do to stop it.

I am a daily wage laborer. I earn ₹100 a day. That’s barely enough to feed us, let alone pay for a liver transplant. I look at my daughter, lying there, so fragile, so helpless, and I feel utterly useless. How can I save her? How can I give her the chance she deserves? I don’t want to think about the future. I don’t want to imagine a life without her. But the truth is, if I don’t find the money for her treatment, there won’t be a future for her at all.

But the clock is ticking, and my options are running out.

Her condition is critical. The doctors are clear: without a liver transplant, she will not survive. The disease is attacking her body from all sides, and without surgery, her organs will fail one by one.

I am reaching out to all of you. I am asking for your help. I can’t do this alone. I need your support to give my daughter the future she deserves. Mokshitha is my entire world, and without her, I have nothing.

Please, I ask you to save her. Help me give her a chance at life. I can’t do this without you.

Your Donation Is Helping Not 1 But 3 People!

Your donation towards this fundraiser is not only helping Kothapalli Mokshitha recover from Liver Disease, but is also helping two more patients in need:

1. Riyan Kundu, who is fighting Nephrotic Syndrome, needs a kidney transplant worth ₹11 lakhs.

Nine-year-old Riyan has been battling Nephrotic Syndrome, a severe kidney condition, for years. His parents brought him from Bihar to Bangalore in search of better treatment. Now, the doctors have confirmed that both his kidneys are damaged—he urgently needs a transplant. His father, Shankar, runs a small food stall while his mother cares for Riyan full-time. Despite their sacrifices, the family is now at a breaking point—Riyan dreams of a normal childhood, free from hospitals. With your support, he can finally look forward to a healthier future.

2. Madiha Shekh is fighting SMA (Type 2) and needs prolonged medicine which costs ₹5 crores.

Three-year-old Madiha, diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type II), faces a challenging road ahead. The costly medicine needed for her condition costs ₹5 crore and is beyond her father's means, who works in a garage. With your support, her family hopes to rewrite Madiha's story and give her the chance to live a full life.

Your donation towards this fundraiser will support both their treatments.

The goal amount of the campaign may be higher than the attached estimates to address and aid the post-hospitalization expenses/contingencies including but not limited to prolonged medication, diagnostics, rehabilitation therapies, and follow-up doctor visits/consultations which vary from disease to disease.
